SAS Historical Foundation proudly present this representation of an SASR trooper from the Vietnam War.
Force elements of the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) were committed to the Vietnam War from June 1966 to October 1971. Each of the Regiment’s Sabre Squadrons served twice. Due to the soldiers’ individual camouflage and concealment skills and their ability to strike and disappear without a trace, the Viet Cong called them “Phantoms of the Jungle”.
This figurine represents a typical forward scout of an SAS Patrol.
Each hand-finished figurine is highly detailed and features accurate equipment used by Australian Soldiers. The base has space for a 45mm challenge coin, to further personalise your figurine.
These figurines are perfect as a gift for any military enthusiast's collection.
