This cold cast bronze miniature figurine commemorates the heroic charge of the 4th Light Horse Brigade at Beersheba on 31 October 1917. With bayonets in hand, eight hundred men of the 4th and 12th Light Horse regiments fearlessly charged as cavalry across the open desert. The Turkish defenders were caught off guard, their rifle sights unable to adjust in time as the horsemen thundered towards them. Within minutes, the horses were leaping over trenches, leading to the capture of Beersheba and eventually Jerusalem. This figurine captures the spirit and bravery of those soldiers in a stunning and detailed design.

The first miniature statue I received had a broken rifle butt . I ordered another one and it came through in great condition . As my grandfather was in the Charge so it now takes pride of place.
