The Air Force Sword with Air Rank puts elegance and distinction at the forefront of design. The same design has been carried by RAF Commissioned Officers since its adoption by the Air Ministry in 1925, the sword has a single-edged straight blade with gold-plated brass hilt, white fish-skin grip and a brass pommel in the form of an eagle. A stamped gold-plated brass cartouche bears the eagle emblem of the RAF.
This ladies sword is shorter and lighter, but retains every aspect of the workmanship and beauty of the standard blade. The scabbard design reflects the designation of with Air Rank.
