These Archive Editions include significant and desirable numbers deliberately set aside when the collections were originally released - pieces that have remained within the BrandNet Archives, in some cases for many years.
Now, for the first time, selected Archive Editions are being made available to collectors. Each number is offered individually and priced according to its significance and rarity, giving you the opportunity to choose the exact numbered edition you would like to own.

The outbreak of the Great War in 1914 had a marked impact on the humble Teddy Bear. Until the war, most of Europe and England’s Teddy Bears were sourced from Germany. With supplies cut off, English manufacturers stepped up, and in doing so added an English flavour to the Teddy Bear.
Private John Murray - the Diggers’ Bear - was the first limited edition bear especially created for the ‘Australia in the Great War 1914-1918 Collection’. Modelled on the softer-style English bear, his uniform is the 1912 design worn by diggers in Europe and in the Middle East, topped by the distinctive Australian Commonwealth Military Forces slouch hat proudly worn by the Australian Army since 1903.
Limited to only 5,000 bears, Private John Murray comes in a Centenary presentation box with a certificate of authenticity.
